Connect Your First Repository

Install the GitHub App and connect a repository to Figorit in under two minutes.

Figorit connects to your GitHub repositories via a GitHub App. This gives Figorit read access to your code so it can index files and respond to webhooks when you push changes.

Step 1: Install the GitHub App

Navigate to Settings → Integrations in your Figorit dashboard and click 'Connect GitHub'. You'll be redirected to GitHub to install the Figorit app. Choose the repositories you want to grant access to. You can always change this later.

Step 2: Select Repositories

After installation, return to Figorit. Your available repositories will appear on the Repositories page. Click 'Add' next to any repo to begin indexing.

Step 3: Wait for Indexing

Figorit will clone the repository, parse files into semantic chunks, and generate embeddings. Depending on the repo size this takes between 30 seconds and a few minutes. You'll see a progress indicator on the dashboard.
